Lastovo is the youngest of Croatian Nature Parks, a still undiscovered pearl of the Adriatic. Apart from beautiful nature and rich gastronomy, Lastovo is stage to a varied cultural and entertainment programme in the summer months. During the Lastovo Cultural Summer, visitors can enjoy various exhibitions, classical music concerts, fishermen's evenings and the Lastovo Night. The Festival of New Compositions will be held for the second time in front of the Church of St. Kuzma and Damian, on the 27th and 28th of July. The best performers will be awarded the prize by a panel of judges, performers and the public. From the 23rd to the 26th of August, the island of Lastovo will be home to several thousand visitors and enthusiasts of this blend of alternativeurban music and the natural beauty of the Lastovo Islands Nature Park; the ultimate experience for those in search of free concerts, adventure tourism and an adrenaline rush. The Lastovo Island of Music event is held every four days in the Mihajla bay.
